1963 National Glenwood Fiberglass Map Electric Guitar. Here is a very cool old piece, it is a rare Valco made National "Map" guitar. It is in good shape, but it has had some modifications. First the back of the neck has been resprayed red and newer gotoh tuners were installed. Second the original "Silversound" bridge has been removed and a aluminum bigsby has been fitted for the guitar. Lastly the original tremolo has been removed the original holes have been filled and a tailpiece has been installed. Even with all these mods the guitar is still beyond cool, the original pickups sound great, the controls all work well without noise and the guitar plays pretty well. We have just restrung the guitar with Erinie Ball 11-48 Rock & Roll strings, and it comes with a 335 style hardcase.
