The Behringer XM 8500A is a dynamic microphone that has a cardioid pattern minimizes feedback and background noise.This is a low-cost alternative to other higher priced microphones with the same features. It works excellent for vocals and has a built-in shockmount system that lowers handling noise. It'a an XLR low impedance mic with a frequency response of 50Hz to 15kHz so it can also be used on guitars, amps, sax and drums. It's a very good all around mic. The XM8500 also comes with a two stage pop filter that reduces breath and pop sounds usually made while singing or talking into a mic. It comes with a hard case and mic clip and stand adapter.
