Gretsch Snare dums fro many years have offered great playablity and stunning looks. The 10 lug S-5514WH-SWN is no exception. The 10 ply 5.5 x 14 Maple shell is finished in a natural gloss. By contrast, the contoured wood hoops are finished in a satin walnut.

The Contour on the wood hoops emit a natural open tone without adding bulk like traditional wood hoops. Gretsch added it's drop style throw off to round out this package. That "Great Gretsch Sound" is even easier to achieve at this price.
