2007 Guild D50 Bluegrass Special, Tacoma Factory, Red Spruce Top, Rosewood, Hardcase ISS30564

This is an excellent-sounding Guild from the short period when they were built in Tacoma, Washington. It has just been restrung and set up, and is ready to be played. As noted, it was made shortly after Fender purchased the company. We sold these new, and they were built with high-quality woods in the Tacoma guitar factory.

The top is a wide-grain red spruce, and the back features beautiful straight-grain rosewood. The guitar has a killer tone—boomy, loud, and more Martin-like in character. The finish is in very nice shape with some light play wear, a few dings and dents, and a couple of finish cracks from age and the nature of a nitro finish.

It plays great and is set up with factory action at 4/32" on the bass side and 3/32" on the treble. There is plenty of saddle left for adjustment. There are also some finish cracks around the back of the neck heel; the neck set is good and solid, and the cracks are purely cosmetic.

Comes with the original hard case. Currently strung with Martin Light 12–52 strings.
